Shohei Giant Baba was a Professional Baseball player before his Introduction to Puroresu playing for the Yomirui Giants and the Taiyo Whales from 1955-1960. Baba Broke into the Wrestling business under Rikidōzan in the JWA where he would preform for the next 12 years until he found All Japan Pro - Wrestling with the two sons of Rikidōzan - Mitsuo & Yoshihiro Momota.
